For those seeking further education, Finland is a great option. The Finnish educational system has strong choices worldwide. Universities and polytechnics provide higher education and provide a variety of English-language programs. Finland provides a selection of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs in several academic disciplines, including technology, business, design, and the social sciences. Although English is the language of instruction at most colleges, Finnish is the country of Finland’s official language.
But, learning a little bit of Finnish can be helpful, particularly if you intend to work in Finland after finishing your education. Scholarships:
- Universities offer a range of options for scholarships both for bachelor's and master's level international students, as The first academic year the scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fee. In the following academic years,the scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fee if a student earns required credits for the program.

Part Time work/Student Jobs
- International Students can also work for 30 hours per week (part-time) on average during the academic year and work full time with no restrictions during holidays.

Acceptable Financial Documents for Student Visa or Residence Permit
- You should attach a bank statement to your application, showing that you have the necessary funds in your bank account. The bank statement must show the name of the account holder, the name of the bank, and the currency.
- You must have the necessary funds in your own bank account that is in your personal use only.
- If you are under the age of 18 or an exchange student, the bank account can be a joint bank account that you share with your guardian. The bank statement must include a statement of your right to access the bank account.
Sponsorship agreements provided by relatives, friends or employers are not acceptable. The funds must be in your own bank account.
- If you have received the funds for instance from your parents or relatives (a sponsor),we may ask you to submit additional documents on the origin of the funds.
- You can have a bank account in any country, as long as you can use it in Finland. You must be able to withdraw money from the account when you are in Finland.
